Lacomata Holiday Home

Completed in June 2018, this home is perched on the mountainside with a gorgeous 180-degree view looking due south. The design focused on the idea that each room would be able to take advantage of this view. This idea commonly forms the building into a straight line; therefore it was proposed to construct two volumes of different living spaces.

One volume features the kitchen, living room and dining area where as the second area contained the bedrooms. Large windows and doors affords the seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living, stepping out from the home into a space providing shade during summer months. The overall aesthetic is simple, clean, and compliments the surrounding environment. This included designing the pool walls in a beige colour which causes it to reflect the natural surroundings.
